The inaugural scouting tournament held at the Maracanã stadium was an exciting developing stage and project for our young talent in Lagos.
Lekki United coach Ayo Filani, a brilliant coach, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to the players to show their skills to the renowned scouts.
Sharing his insights, Filani stated, it was a wonderful moment. The scout were attentive, and we were able to give our best to assist to figuring the best young talent in our club, from other clubs as well for the Serbian scout and other experts.
The scouting initiative aim to discover promising players and provide them with a platform to enter the professional football scene.
The Serbian Srdjan Savic, known for his keen eye for talent, expressed optimism about the pool of players in Lagos. The players on display really have bright future. The players and clubs were attentive and came very early which implies the structure and organization in place.
The players need to dream football, work hard, follow their coaches instruction and ensure they are ready for the big stage.
