Lekki United arrived in Ibadan for the final part of their pre-season preparations ahead of the new domestic season.
Manager Ayo Filani led the 30-man team in an exciting train ride from Lagos and through Ibadan as the players got to embrace team bonding while on the two-hour trip.
Already out of the Lagos FA Cup after a narrow defeat to Messiah FC in the first round, the focus is now fully switched on to the upcoming NLO season, which is scheduled to kickstart on the 13th of April.
While in Ibadan, the team will partake in some friendlies, inclusive of games against local sides and also engage in other activities that will foster team unity off the pitch and tactical improvement on it ahead of a busy 2024 domestic season.
Straight into business, the boys got a five-hour rest after landing in Ibadan and also took part in some light training at the Akin Alabi Arena, not far from the team’s lodge.
